Original Post:
There was not one, but two car fires in the Thomas Park neighborhood early on Tuesday morning. Around 5:30am, a resident of that area reported hearing “three large booms.” Then smoke and flames could be seen coming from the Excel High School parking lot.
BFD responded.
Then a second car on National Street was reported to be on fire. BFD responded to that one too.
BPD and BFD were investigating.
Southie resident Jascha Franklin-Hodge captured a video of the flames on twitter.
