Trail of Parking Tickets on Farragut Road
Protest or a gusty wind?
On Wednesday night around 10pm, one Southie resident noticed a trail of parking tickets littering Farragut Road and captured the mess on video.
Currently, there is a large construction project taking place on this City Point Street, and there are parking restrictions in effect – but across the street. But maybe?
It was also Street Cleaning that day in that neighborhood. So were the tickets issued for that infraction? It would be strange for that amount of residents not to move their cars, but who knows?
No matter what the case, BTD was not screwing around.
If you got a ticket for parking on Farragut Road, let us know why! Shoot us an email at [email protected]
Thank you to Kayla for sending us the video!

If you’ve ever seen a very heavy person running to catch a bus with a sandwich, drink and fries then you can equate btd getting tickets out in the same manner.
They will lay in wait, watching a particular spot just to give a “gotcha” ticket to someone who really didn’t deserve it..
Happened to me, I won on appeal but cost 2 days pay for 2 appearances in city hall.
Btd…think seagulls.
Good luck Southie.
