Some Southie Residents Love Leaving a Mean Note on a Car Windshield

Good Morning From South Boston

To say that parking in Southie is challenging is an understatement.  When residents don’t do a great job parking, whether it’s deliberate or completely clueless, it does not go unnoticed.  Often, people leave mean notes, letting the drivers know their “disappointment” in their park job.

This “situation,” including a note, was spotted in Southie at the corner of H + 8th on Monday morning. This resident was so angry they used the “C” word, spread nacho cheese all over the windshield, and left a bag of trash for good measure.

The note reads:

Nice park job you c*nt!

Gheesh.

We are unsure exactly what the parking issue was but the owner of the car is starting off his/her week with a trip to Scrub a Dub.  We do know that in that neighborhood, they are currently ripping up the streets and Feeney Brothers has blocks of parking reserved for their trucks.  So parking is tough…really tough…

Here’s full shot:

Maybe taking up two spots?

other than facing the wrong way, what’s the issue? Yeah they could have been closer to the white car but who knows if that was the car there when they parked?

Golf carts,. Nose in , side by side parking.
    Here,
No vehicles allowed in to Southie from Broadway bridge.,
No vehicles in from Boston st. ,and mass Ave. (Andrew sq. Area)
No vehicles in from black falcon terminal, summer st., Dst ,and,. 1st Street into South Boston.

They’ve made a circus out of the once great place called Southie, so this would work fine.
Southie resembles Coney Island now, and going to look like Manhattan as time goes on.
Yeah, golf carts is your only hope to a common ground…..
    You don’t like it ? …..TS Paddy.

I grew up in All/Bri and if I came across this I’d put my own note on this car, although I’d say “ I saw the jerk who did this and I heard him say he was going to pop ur tires on 1st shitty day ! And then I’d write where some other Yuppie lived and describe one of my transplant neighbors. Lol loo

I applaud this person’s ACTIONS!! This week I was caught between I and Seventh and Eighth Streets by 2 cars: one parked catty corner with its back end partly on the side walk and the rest half way out into the street: lights blinking. The 2nd car was parked on the other side of the street facing 7th St just opposite the front end of the other car: Lights blinking. No one could get by and I had 16 cars behind me blocking 8th St. We all honked our horns. No one came out for 6 minutes except neighbors. One person finally came out and sauntered around his car 2 times, gazed at us and drove off to a parking space across the street. Such Entitlement and Arrogance. (20 something). I did call 911 and the Police were on their way. Perhaps we need to return to the days when people did stuff like this there was another WAY to teach them a lesson which is very costly!!!!!!!!!

Justyn I was there! heard horns blaring outside, checked and saw the whole trouble. what a load of nonsense that was insane. I know one fella was calling the authorities over it rightfully so. that was beyond ridiculous and you’re completely spot on, on the doe eyed nitwit who slooooowly went to his car. jeesh. I almost hoped they’d have come out and towed the both of them.

…self-absorbed puke obviously parked 3/4 of a spot from the lines. It’s infuriating. Constantly infuriating.

If you step back and examine. the problem it’s not the parking that’s an issue, it’s just a metaphor masking the underlying problem. The luddites in their carbon producing death machines refuse to listen to the Mayor. Buy bikes and save the planet. Electric bikes are the future. You could be sharing bike locks instead of spewing vitriol toward your neighbor. It is written “thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s parking spot”. The apostles didn’t drive cars. Did you miss that symbolism ?
Plovers, Seagulls, parking spots can’t we all just commune with nature & pedal our way to peace and harmony ? Please become enlightened like Mayor Wu.Pedaling is the pathway to peace.

But what about all the booze ?
They’ll never stop trucking it in, therefore never see your point.
Can you imagine the seaport as a no vehicle zone ?
I hope there are people in Southie that are open minded enough to be tuned in to “the Richie Allen show” on podomatic, and David Icke on David icke.com for some real insight….(censored everywhere)
    Richie’s a must for Southie !!!
He’s real funny most often and a very real journalist.
    The BBG…
