If you’re a video game enthusiast, then we’re sure you’ve dowloaded the new mobile app – Pokémon Go – based on the classic game of the 90’s.  The gist of the game is this  –  little monsters appear on your the screen of your phone – via your camera – making it seem as if they are right in front of you.  So what do you think has been happening, well, people have been falling in ditches, off of curbs, down stairs and injuring themselves.

According to the Boston Globe, this new, wildly popular app is sending people to the emergency room.  Yes, to the emergency room.  Who knew Pokemon could be so dangerous?

In other Pokemon Go news from around the country, according to St. Louis Post Dispatch, people have been using the new game app to lure people to a location and then rob them!  Yikes!

Be careful out there people!

Watch out where you park as well in Southie While playing Pokemon! I’ve seen 3 people getting towed while jumping out of their car to “catch em all” I’m not surprised this happens and I don’t feel bad for those people!
