A pedestrian was hit by a car on Day Blvd. in Southie around 7:50pm on Saturday. The pedestrian appears to have sustained life threatening injuries. See press release below from State Police:
State Troopers are on scene of a vehicle vs pedestrian crash that occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. in the area of 176 Day Boulevard South Boston. The injuries sustained to the pedestrian appear to be life threatening. The pedestrian has been transported to Boston Medical Center. Day Boulevard is closed from the rotary to the McCormack Bath House. We will release more information when it becomes available.
