Thanks to all the aggressive construction happening in Southie lately, the MBTA has moved the bus stop from one corner of L and East Broadway to one across the street. So if you are waiting for the Number 9 to head over East Broadway, you might be waiting in the wrong spot.
The new bus stop is now in front of Boston Bagel Co. which is convenient because you can get yourself some breakfast while you wait for the bus.
Apparently, the T never informed the neighborhood of their switch-eroo – so many residens are less than pleased with losing valuable parking spots.
FYI – normal bus stop parking restrictions apply.
This bus stop is only temporary while construction continues on this corner. Hang in there, Southie!
