Mother’s East Hit by Thieves Again — This Time, a Cherished Polish Pitcher Is Missing

Not again! Mother’s East Tavern in South Boston is dealing with another theft, and this time, a beautiful Polish pitcher is missing.
According to the owners, they found the pitcher 12 years ago in San Francisco, making it a special piece with plenty of sentimental value.
After reviewing surveillance footage, the owners say they’ve identified the person who took it. They’re asking for the pitcher to be returned and warning they may share the person’s image publicly if it doesn’t come back.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Mother’s East has dealt with something like this. Just recently, a vintage Paul Masson wine advertisement featuring Orson Welles was stolen from the restaurant.
This is why we can’t have nice things! People, please respect our small business community. As always, nobody likes a jerk.
In the meantime, stop by Mother’s East and show them some love by ordering a few cocktails and some food.
