One lucky duck in Maryland has won over $731million!  The jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was sold at Coney Market, a convenience store in the Allegany County town of Lonaconing, MD. The market will receive a $100,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the ticket to the fifth-largest lottery prize in U.S. history. Holy Moly!

When are the drawings?

Mega Millions drawings are Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. The next Mega Millions drawing is at 11 p.m. Friday, January 22nd. Ticket sales end at 10:45 p.m. in Massachusetts.

Powerball drawings are Wednesday and Friday at 11 p.m. The next Powerball drawing is at 11 p.m. Wednesday, January 20th. Ticket sales end at 9:50 p.m. in Massachusetts. 

How much does it cost and where can I buy a ticket?

Both Mega Millions and Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Most liquor + convenience stores sell lottery tickets.
