Tuesday, August 6th

Hone your sixth sense when it comes to being a victim of a crime.  Learn tips on how to be a “less attractive” target.  On Tuesday, August 6th from 6:30pm-8:30pm, you’re invited to take Reducing Your Odds: A Street Smarts Seminar brought to you by the good people of the Boston Police Neighborhood Watch Unit.  This important class will take place at the Curley Community Center (K Street side) and focus on awareness tips for greater safety at home, work and in public.

Discussion will include how an assailant chooses a victim, when and where an attack is likely to occur, and how to make yourself less of a target.  Participants will gain a sense of their own abilities and understand options available to them in case of an assault.  In short, you’ll learn how to put together a plan to “reduce your odds” of becoming a victim.

Walk tall, Southie!
