If you see fire and smoke in the Logan Airport area, don’t panic.  They will be running some drills from 9am-12pm.  

Avoid the UMass Boston area between 2pm and 6pm.  Vice President Joe Biden will be in town and the Secret Service and local law enforcement officers will be working to secure the area for the vice president’s visit.  Expect significant delays.

Combined with Biden’s visit is the King Tide will be rolling in about 2:13pm.  Perfect timing! Morrissey Blvd. is a mess during a normal high tide, let alone a King Tide.
