Cat’s outta the bag
It looks like City Councilor-at-Large Michelle Wu will be running against incumbent Marty Walsh for mayor of Boston. According to the Boston Globe, Wu told Walsh via a phone call Sunday evening that she would be taking him on in the 2021 election.
Wu has not officially announced, but Walsh did “spill the tea” to the Globe. Wu’s spokesperson issued a statement that didn’t deny the decision to run but didn’t plainly come out an say it either.
But it looks like we have a political race in the works. It’s bound to be a battle.
