In honor of Veterans Day, the Bruins Pitch in with some Flag Planting

On Wednesday, Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo, Jeremy Swayman, Trent Frederic, and Matt Grzelcyk from the Boston Bruins were in the Seaport District helping out Mass Fallen Heroes by planting some flags in honor of Veterans Day coming up this weekend.
Mass Fallen Heroes’ goal is to memorialize our fallen and provide programs and services for our Veteran and Gold Star Family community. In 2014, Mass Fallen Heroes broke ground on a special memorial to honor the Commonwealth’s brave servicemen and women who died while in service to our grateful nation. It is a powerful and refined beacon of light where Gold Star Families are welcome, as well as the general public from all over the world, to come together to reflect and honor our brave heroes.
Here are some more ways to honor veterans in the neighborhood!
