Livelong Southie resident and avid fisherman John Walsh caught this big boy on Wednesday on the outside of one of the locks at Pleasure Bay at Castle Island.
This 34-inch striper put up a good fight but was no match for Walsh and his mad fishing skills. Walsh was planning on fileting the fish and sharing it as a meal with some friends.
We have a feeling it has something to do with Walsh’s lucky Celtics hat he’s wearing.
