Fire at Dorchester Street Laundromat on Saturday Morning
BFD was called to a fire at 143 Dorchester Street, Maytag Laundromat, around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, lots of black smoke was showing due to a fire in a dryer. The fire had spread to another machine above it. The South Boston fire companies made quick work of it, preventing it from spreading and causing further damage.
No injuries were reported.
