Sanchez family arraigned
Three family members were indicted on Tuesday in the fatal beating and stabbing of Edwin Santos in South Boston backin November. Angel Sanchez, 16; his uncle, Gabriel Sanchez, 32; and his father, Elias Sanchez, 44, were charged with first-degree murder in the death of the 29-year-old Santos.
On November 17th, Elias Sanchez began beating Santos on Dorchester Street in front of Bell’s Market on Dorchester Street around 5pm. The other two suspects joined him, both allegedly stabbing the victim before all three fled on foot.
They were arraigned on Wednesday in Suffolk Superior Court.
