What’s better than one person playing piano?  How about two people playing piano?  If we’re lucky, Southie might just be getting a dueling piano bar! According to Boston Eater,  D Street Dueling Pianos is looking to open inside the Element Boston hotel across the street from Lawn on D.  The piano bar is seeking a 7-day liquor and entertainment license from the City of Boston.  (But honestly, how can they say no!  Who doesn’t love some good old fashioned piano playing and sing alongs! )

Right next door at Aloft Hotel, The Social Register – a new bar/restaurant with an outdoor patio hopes to open its door this spring!  And don’t forget about the Lawn on D with all their fun events and cools swings!  D Street seems like it will be THE street in Southie to be.  D  Street, imagine that!
