DCR Traffic Advisory – Due to potential flooding, Morrissey Boulevard could be closed or lane closures November 4th – November 9th

Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and continuing through Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
• Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 9:25 a.m. – 11’.4”
• Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:13 a.m. – 11’.9”
• Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:02 a.m. – 12’.2”
• Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:52 a.m. – 12’.2”
• Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12:45 p.m. – 12’.0”
• Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 1:40 p.m. – 11’.5”
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
