Caught in Southie: Conor McGregor stops by Croke Park to sling Forged Irish Stout
Luck of the Irish
Look who was “Caught in Southie!” Conor McGregor, the former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion, businessman, and actor from Ireland, stopped by Croke Park, AKA Whitey’s Place, on Sunday night to sling his new Forged Irish Stout.
According to those in attendance, McGregor was super friendly, posed for selfies, and tended bar!
McGregor was supposed to stop at Peter Welch’s Gym on Tuesday but had to cancel due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Hmmmmm wonder if it had to do with too many stouts at Whitey’s?
The boxing gym posted a photo of a standee of the UFC fighter on Instagram explaining the cancellation.
Back in 2019, McGregor participated in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in South Boston. The crowd got so rowdy, that the car carrying McGregor had to leave the parade at L Street and East Broadway.
