At about 6:29 PM, on Saturday, April 02, 2022, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force, made an onsite firearm arrest of a 15-year-old male juvenile, of Somerville, a drug trafficking arrest of Lennox Pierre-Louis, 20, of Roxbury, and a drug possession arrest of Shami Grant-Sampson, 22, of Charlestown while in the area of Columbia Road and Old Colony Avenue in South Boston.

Officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle which had excessively dark tinted windows, but the motor vehicle initially refused to stop. As a result of the traffic stop, officers recovered more that $2,500.00 in USC, several plastic baggies containing twenty-eight rock like substances believed to be crack cocaine and a loaded firearm. The firearm was determined to be a Glock 43 9X19 and contained ten rounds of ammunition in the magazine.

Grant-Sampson was arrested and charged with; Failure to Stop for Police, Possession of Class B, Drugs and Operating After Revocation or Suspension. Pierre-Louis was arrested and charged with; Trafficking; Class B, Drugs. The 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested and charged with; Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Delinquent to wit; Possession with Intent to Distribute, Class B, Drugs.

All three suspects are expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
