A bump of a car makes a positive impact in Southie

After working a busy shift at Tom English’s, Mike Neff found a note on his car.

“I caught your bumper while parking my car behind you. I’m deeply sorry. “ The note was signed by Chad P.
Mike checked the damage to his car and chuckled to himself at the irony of the author of the note’s name – Chad.* The condition of his car wasn’t too bad so he texted Chad to let him know he was off the hook for any financial responsibility to repair his car.

Well, Chad came through with a $250 donation to the family of Nicole Downs DiMaggio – a mother of two who had a sudden stroke this past weekend.
The kindness of strangers – Chad did the right thing – actually went above and beyond. Thank you to Chad and thank you to Mike for paying it forward to a Southie family in need!
*Chad and Becky are nicknames for yuppies
