2025 St. Patrick’s Day Route Announced with an Earlier Start Time

Let the countdown begin! We are weeks away from the 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and organizers have announced this year’s route. No big changes except for the start time – which this year will begin at 11:30am. The earlier start is to accommodate parade volunteers so they are not still out on the route until 6pm like last year.
Parade organizers posted the following message about the route on social media on Wednesday:
We’re kicking off the parade at Broadway Station, and then marching via West Broadway onto East Broadway. Then, we’re taking a right onto P Street and another right onto East 4th Street. Next, we’re turning left to K Street and then right onto East 5th Street. We’ll take another left onto G Street while staying to the left of South Boston High School. We’ll follow Thomas Park, take a left onto Telegraph Street, and then another left onto Dorchester Street. Finally, we’ll keep walking on Dorchester Street until we end at Andrew Station.
You can view the map here.
Make sure to check out our St. Patrick’s Day Guide! The March 17th season is more than just a day to wear green and drink a Guinness; it’s an opportunity to connect as a community and celebrate what makes South Boston so legendary and unique
We’ll give you suggestions on where to watch the parade, tips on entertaining, where to eat corned beef and cabbage, where to catch some live Irish music, which bars to go to, and so much more. You can check it out here!
