Looks like Amrheins is staying put…..

The newly proposed development by The Matteson Companies and GFI Partners will retain the four-story building and restaurant space for Amrheins.  In the parking lot next store will be an eight-story, approximately 123,400 square-feet mixed-use building with ground-floor retail space and research and development/office space above.  This proposal is currently under review with the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

Here are the details below:

The approximately 21,770 square foot site, commonly known as 80-110 West Broadway, currently contains a four-story, mixed-use building occupied at its ground level by Amrheins Restaurant, a one-story addition at 84-88A West Broadway, and a surface parking lot for 44 vehicles. The Proponent proposes to retain the four-story building, which will continue to include ground-floor bar/restaurant space for Amrheins, with six residential units above, and to construct on the remainder of the site an eight-story, approximately 123,400 square-feet of gross floor area, mixed-use building with ground-floor retail space and research and development/office space above. The Project will also include approximately 25 below-grade parking spaces.
