Big news in South Boston real estate. Developers who purchased 244-284 A Street last spring has filed plans with the Boston Planning and Development Agency on Monday.

According to the Boston Business Journal,Related Beal President Kimberly Sherman Stamler filed a letter of intent with the BPDA and stated the company is planning three buildings:
A 366,000-square-foot, 180-foot residential building;
A 334,000-square-foot, 180-foot office; and
A 400,000-square-foot, 123-foot lab/research and development building.

Related Beal purchased the 6.5 acres of waterfront property from Procter & Gamble Co for $218 million. Currently this property is a large parking lot.

So lots of changes coming to this part of the neighborhood!
