Another Problem Property rejected for roof deck in South Boston
Once again, South Boston elected officials mean business when it comes to problem properties
Universal Hub is reporting the Zoning Board of Appeals rejected a request to add a roof deck to a triple decker at 221 L St., between East 8th Street and Marine Road.
After the offices of City Councilors Ed Flynn, Michael Flaherty and Annissa Essaibi George spoke out against the proposed roof deck due to complaints from neighbors about loud house parties, the ZBA board voted unanimously to reject the request.
Back in May, a similar situation occurred for the owner of 25 Dorchester Street.
