Support:
Anyone who knew Stephanie “Lovey” Uftring knew how she could light up up a room with her personality. She was outgoing, kind, and loads of fun.  Last fall, Stephanie lost her battle with colon cancer and it was a dark day in South Boston to lose such a bright light. Steps for Stephanie was created to honor Stephanie who inspired so many with her courage, her strength and her spirit.   A group of friends will be walking in Stephanie’s memory as part of the the 2015 Boston Get Your Rear In Gear 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition on Saturday, September 19th at 9am.   Stephanie’s team will also be selling long sleeve “Lovey” T-shirts for $20 at South Boston Yacht Club before and after the walk.  All proceeds will go to Colon Cancer Coalition in Stephanie’s name. You can make a donation to Steps for Stephanie here: http://tinyurl.com/qzwhoza
