Kids Pick:
Take a magical journey! A local favorite, The Children’s Magical Halloween Castle, takes place this weekend on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th 12pm-4pm each day.  The Castle Island Association transforms Fort Independence at Castle Island into a family friendly Halloween showcase.  Enjoy magic tricks, storytelling, popcorn and treats.  Don’t forget to wear your costume.  This event is free and open to the public.

Workout for a cause!  As part of the Southie Turns Pink project,  on Saturday, October 24th put on your boxing gloves and knock out cancer with Peter Welch’s Gym. Take an hour long class of fighter’s conditioning and then a post-class party with wine, beer, light bites and cupcakes.
