Eat:
Ring a ding ding!  Kick it old school at Sinatra Brunch! It’s all about Frank on Sunday at Lucky’s Lounge – 355Congress Street.  Voted best bar and lounge in Boston by Boston Magazine in 2011, Lucky’s serves up some tasty dishes in honor of the main man himself, Frank Sinatra.  Try the Blue Eyes Beni with packed eggs on a english muffin with Canadian bacon, lemon her hollandaise sauce.  If you’re more in the lunch mood the Lucky Burger is the way to go: diner style with fried onions or fried jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on a sesame bun.  If you’re torn between lunch and breakfast, add an egg over easy to your Lucky Burger.  Sunday brunch is served 10am until 3pm, with live music from 11am until 2pm covering everything from Come Fly With Me to New York, New York and everything in between.

Drink:
What better way to “do good” than to order up a delicious cocktail and help raise some money for the Ellie Fund!  As part of the Do Good campaign, local Southie establishments will be turning pink for the month of October! Loco Taqueria and Lincoln will be serving up specialty pink cocktails and order one (or two) up!  $2 from each one sold will go directly to the Ellie Fund. Loco is serving the Watermelon Rose Margarita – a deliciously refreshing concoction of watermelon, rose, tequila, lemon, triple sec for $10.  The “TaTa Tasty” is the featured cocktail at Lincoln and is made with vodka, grapefruit, elderflower, basil, lime!  $10  We’ll drink to that!

Shop:
Make a plan to sip and shop your way around Southie on Thursday, October 13th from 6pm to 8pm.  Some local South Boston businesses will be participating in the Southie Turns Pink Shopping Night Out!   A portion of the sales will be donated directly to the Ellie Fund – a local non-profit dedicated to providing critical services including childcare, grocery shopping and meal deliveries to patients with breast cancer and their families.  Habit, Ku De Ta, Wears + Wares, Pretty Reckless, The Beauty Bar, East Side Yoga, Covet, Dew Luxe and Fete Collections will be serving up some pink drinks and snacks and 20% of all sales will go directly to the Ellie Fund.  For full details visit here! 

Watch:
The Bruins are back!  Watch them face the Blue Jackets on Thursday night at 7pm, and Austin Matthews and the Maple Leafs on Saturday at 7pm.  Tom Brady and the Patriots face the Bengals at home at 1pm.  Tom’s first home game!  Go Pats!  Wondering where to watch the game? Here are our picks!

Grand Ten Distilling is hosting it’s first ever Foosball Tournament on Sunday, October 16th. This will be the first of a series of tournaments that will determine who is the ultimate bar games champion! Entry to the tournament will be free and we will be offering $6 session cocktails for all-day foosball action. The top players will receive GrandTen gift cards and merchandise. Celebrate:
East Side Yoga Anniversary Celebration and Ellie Fund Fundraiser – Celebrate East Side Yoga and Fitness’ 2nd anniversary on Friday October 14th! There will be FREE Hip Hop Yoga Class with Leslie Doyle starting at 6:15 pm , discounts on retail in the studio, juice samples from The Juice Box, trunk show with Lindsay Tia, Ku De Ta , & Wears + Wares, raffles, snacks and drinks, and ESYF is participating in #SouthieTurnsPink and will be accepting donations for the Ellie Fund for Breast Cancer.  Proceeds from the raffle will also go towards the Ellie Fund as well!

See:
Be on the lookout for floating orange bodies in Fort Point Channel.  The newest Fort Point Channel public art installment is guaranteed to turns heads.  20 floating, orange people hanging onto to inner tubes floating down the channel.  SOS Safety Orange Swimmers will replace the floating sheep on October 14th and will be drifting in the waters near the Children’s Museum for six weeks.  The public art display is created by artists Ann Hirsch and Jeremy Angier, of A + J Art and Design and was chosen by the Fort Point Artist Community (FPAC).  The creation of the orange swimmers were inspired by the global refugee crisis.

Participate:
Speaking of Fort Point.  Pick up a map and explore the studios and warehouses that are home to painters, sculptors, ceramicists, jewelers, performance artists, printmakers, book artists, photographers, and more..
