Eat:
The much anticipated Publico – a new restaurant located at 11 Dorchester Street – will be opening its on Tuesday, February 28th!  Think globally inspired food, creative craft cocktails and an interior that is mid-century meets rustic.  The menu features snacks like empanadas, tacos, and bacaliao fritters, pizzettas, small sharable plates of steamed mussels, ceviche, and larger plates like steak frites, bolognese and mahi mahi! Publico’s Adult bevy menu features handcrafted cocktails like the Goose &Gander – Grey Goose, Aperol, St. Germain and lemon or the Market Day made with Bully Boy Gin, St. George Spiced Pear, Littet Blanc, Honey and lemon.  Cocktails range in price from $11-$12.  Also on the menu beer – draft, bottle and cans, and eclectic wine list!

Drink:
We jammin’! Unwind into the weekend with Conscious Reggae this weekend.   Shenanigans is hosting a Reggae night every Friday night! Order up a Red Stripe or rum drink and sway with the music.

Shop:
Calling all fashionistas! Ku De Ta is having a SALE!  Come visit one of our favorite spots and shop must-haves from Free People, BCBG Generation, True Religion, and more – all for lower-than-low prices. We’re talking denim, shirts, sweaters, and accessories for a song!  Get some retail therapy and kick off spring looking good!

Plunge:
Jump in the water for a cause! Join hundreds of costumed beach lovers will plunge into the icy waters of Boston Harbor at this year’s Harpoon Shamrock Splash for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay at the BCYF Curley Community Center in South Boston on Sunday, March 5th at noon. This year’s splash will be better than ever, with refreshing Harpoon beer, real food from b.good and music by the Mix 104.1 & AMP 103.3 street teams. And of course there are many chances to win free flights from our partners at JetBlue and great swag from Harpoon for best costumes, biggest fundraisers and just for taking the plunge. Registration for this year’s Harpoon Shamrock Splash is just $20 at www.shamrocksplash.org You must be 21 or older to take participate. All proceeds go to support free events and programs on the region’s public beaches in 2017. Do:
Stop by the Murphy Rink on Saturday, March 4th at 2pm for a rededication ceremony with Governor Charlie Baker, Mayor Marty Walsh and Fire Commissioner Joe Finn!  Then stick around for some old fashioned rivalry at the BFD vs. BPD Hockey Game.   Then the Boston Latin School’s Girls Hockey State Tournament at 4pm.

Bowl:
The South Boston Citizens’ Association is hosting a 21+ Bowl-A-Rama at South Boston Bowl. On Sunday, March 5th, join your neighbors and friends for an afternoon of free bowling, raffles, music and lots of fun. This event begins at 12pm and is proudly sponsored by South Boston Bowl.

Support:
Join friends and neighbor for a Flower Bar fundraising event benefiting Boston Medical Center! Enjoy brunch or bubbles at Stephi’s in Southie as you make your very own flower arrangement. Bloom Floral Designs will guide you through how to make your arrangement. You’ll learn skills to apply at home next time you purchase flowers. Tickets are $65. The cost of your flower arrangement is included in the ticket price. Please note, food and drink are not included in the ticket price.
