The Winter on D will be a three-day celebration of fire and ice transforming the green space into a winter wonderland during the day and heating things up in the night. The “ice” events will take place on January 3rd and 4th from 11am-5pm and include such fun as five-foot tall 50 x50 foot ice sculpture, family friendly activities, food trucks and of course the bar serving up beer, wine and hot chocolate. The “fire” events will take place on January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 5pm to 8pm and include live fire art performances, free chowder samples from Legal Sea Foods, and propane fire pits – hope they have a fire detail on hand!
