Glitz and glam! Holiday Fashion Night at The Urban Art Bar (709 East Broadway). The second fashion show of the season at the Urban Art Bar will take place on Thursday, December 11th at 7pm and will feature fashions by Ku De Ta and hair and makeup by Nurture Salon and Spa. Make a night of signature cocktails, mixing and mingling with local fashionistas, and inspiration for your upcoming holiday parties! Wine + Yoga:
Is the hustle and bustle of the holiday season starting to stress you out? Give yourself a break! Join Katie Gentile for a 60-minute all levels Vinyasa flow class on Saturday, December 13th, at 11am at Boston Winery. Class will be followed by a tour of the wine-making facility, a tasting of some of Boston Winery’s best-selling, all-natural wines (no added preservatives or sulfites!), and light snacks. Hang out after the tasting – wines are available for purchase by the glass, or visit the winery’s store to find your favorite wine by the bottle. They make a great gift too! Space is limited! The November class sold out, and advance registration is required as tickets will not be available at the door. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance at Eventbrite.
Spirit: Light it up! The First Annual Seaport Tree Lighting will take place on Friday, December 12th from 4 to 5 pm at the South Boston Maritime Park (intersection of D Street and Seaport Boulevard). This is event is free and open to the public and will feature cookies, cider and hot chocolate, live holiday music, a visit from Santa and a toy collection for Toys for Tots. It will be a fun opportunity for neighbors to come together to celebrate the season. The West Broadway tree near the municipal lot will have its official tree lighting celebration on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:30pm.
