Eat:

It’s Tiki Sundays at Drink – 348 Congress Street.  Every second Sunday in the summer beginning at 4pm enjoy fruity tropical drinks served in tiki mugs with umbrellas.  Sounds like a perfect way to end your weekend.

PorchFEST is taking over the Lawn on D on Saturday!  From 3pm-9pm enjoy a day filled with music, fun and community showcased right on 3 front porches built right on the lawn. There will also be activities, like a make your own tutu station, and performers from Esh Circus Artists to ensure there is never a dull moment all day long! Don’t miss the big dance party at the end!  PLUS, to ensure you stay safe from the sun all day long, the Melanoma Foundation of New England will have sunscreen dispensers on The Lawn! Revisit the good old days and enjoy Southie DJ legend Dru Erico as he spins the tunes at Seapoint on Saturday, August 8th beginning at 8pm.   Plan on dancing the night away to such local favorites like Happy Radio and Young Hearts Run Free.   No cover charge.  Plenty of parking!

Listen:
Come out and listen to some amazing music!  Fourth Presbyterian Church hosts its 21st Annual Gospel Night featuring the Bullock Brothers along with the incredible Fourth Church Summer Singers.  This event is a do not miss for music lovers!   The event takes place Saturday, August 8th at 7:15pm at the Fourth Church (340 Dorchester Street).  Tickets are $10/under 18 free!

Family Pick:
Celebrate summer and join the Boston Children’s Museum for a FREE movie screening out on the Fort Point Channel waterfront, just next to the Museum near the giant milk bottle. Bring a blanket or some lawn chairs – and popcorn will be available! Start Time: Sunset, between 7:45 pm and 8:00 pm  This Friday’s movie is Big Hero 6
