Eat:
Lobster, shrimp and oysters, oh my!  Enjoy the Boston Seafood Festival on Saturday, September 28th at the Bank of America Pavilion.  This family friendly event begins at 10am and goes for 12 delicious hours until 10pm.  There will be food vendors, kids activities, chef demonstrations, an oyster shucking contest. and music.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here http://bostonseafest2013.brownpapertickets.com/

Drink:
Southie just got a little swankier.  Stephi’s in Southie (11B West Broadway) is expected to open its doors on Tuesday.  As part of the family of restaurants from restaurateur Stephanie Sokolove, the 150 seat, modern yet very comfortable spot resides where the legendary Quiet Man Pub once stood.  Stephi’s will feature lunch and dinner and weekend brunch.  A perfect spot for to watch a game and have a beer, or socialize with friends with a round of signature cocktails at the large bar. Sneak a romantic moment near their floating fireplace for a glass of wine at the wine bar.

Celebrate:
Go green.  Celebrate the Planet Southie’s Green Globe Awards on Thursday, September 26th from 6pm-9pm at the Distillery (516 East Second Street).  Come by and help honor and thank all our of neighbors and local businesses that our helping to make Southie a little greener and healthier.
