If you haven’t tried KO Catering and Pies yet, you don’t know what you are missing. The pie crust is flaky and golden and filled with savory meat and cheese warm and delicious. The Quencher Tavern. Located on the ground floor of a triple-decker, The Q’s interior is true hole in the wall charm and is usually packed with a local cast of characters. The drink prices are cheap and the jukebox will have you dancing in no time.

This ain’t your Nana’s Bingo! Gather up the girls, slips on your high heels and go play some Bingo! St. Peter Academy is playing host to this exciting night of cocktails, prizes and surprises. It takes place at the Seapoint Restaurant (367 East Eighth Street) on Friday, February 1st at 6:30pm. There will be a cash bar, complimentary raffle ticket, a chance to win prizes including Coach, Vera Bradley and Yankee Candle (to name a few) and it’s for a great cause – the kids of St. Peter Academy. It’s that time of year again. Time for the Annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition at the Walsh Center (Behind the courthouse and next to the Java House on East Broadway). It takes place on Super bowl Sunday and it’s for boys and girls ages 10-14. 12pm kicks off the 10-12 year olds. 1pm for teens 13 and 14 years old.
Pizza and Soda served after the contest. An application must be filled out.
