Pick up a map and explore the studios and warehouses that are home to painters, sculptors, ceramicists, jewelers, performance artists, printmakers, book artists, photographers, and more.. Meet and chat with artists in their studios and discover new works and treasured favorites.  See Fort Point’s art galleries and find public art installations throughout the neighborhood including a giant pyramid floating on the Channel.

In addition to the more than 150 artists studios and galleries which will be open, Fort Point Open Studios features a series of special events, including:
    ?    artists’s demos
    ?    performance
    ?    public art
?    hands-on activities for all ages
?    Member’s Group Show at the FPAC Gallery

The fun happens:

May 15th: Friday Preview select studios open 4-7pm

May 16-17 Saturday and Sunday studios open 12-5pm

This event is free to the public + free parking

Free parking thanks to Gillette/P&G:  in the parking lot at A Street and Binford Streets-please note this is a new parking location, across the street from the lot you may be used to using. Turn onto Binford Street from A Street towards the Channel, then turn left into the parking (look for signs)

Insider’s tip:  This might be a nice idea to spend the day in Fort Point absorbing art and then go to one of the many amazing restaurants in the neighborhood like

Blue Dragon, Row 34, Tavern Road, Lucky’s Lounge, and Sportello – to name a few!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about
this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a
bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read.
    I’ll definitely be back.
