“Live by Night” filming here soon.
Well, looky, looky. Looks like Ben Affleck is coming back to Southie to film “Live by Night,” a crime drama based on the book of the same name by Dorchester native Dennis Lehane. Affleck is both directing and starring in the film.
The Prohibition era story tells the tale of Joe Coughlin, the son of a Boston police captain, that gets wrapped up in the other side of the law with illegal the rum trade.
They are set to film in Southie on Tuesday, November 24th on East Broadway between L and N. So be prepared for no parking and traffic being rerouted.
