Southie Family Pick! 

Make a plan for some good old fashioned fun with the family!  The South Boston Public Library is hosting a fall fair featuring pumpkin decorating, storytelling with Big Joe, and face painting by Colores Kids!  

The fun happens on Saturday, October 10th from noon to 3pm.

Save the dates:
Story Time begin on October 27th at the library! 

  • Join us for Story Time for ages 0-5 on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. starting October 27.  Story Time includes sing-along songs, movement, puppets, and books.
  • Join us for Sunshine Story Time for ages 2-5 on Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. starting October 30.  Sunshine Story Time emphasizes school readiness skills with sing-along songs, movement, puppets, books, and simple crafts.
  • Join us for Sunshine Baby Time for Under 2s on Friday mornings at 11:00 a.m. starting October 30.  Sunshine Baby Time provides a short, informal introduction to story time with nursery rhymes and sing-along songs.
  • Readers’ Theater Puppetry Workshop – Kids (ages 6-9) practice their reading skills as they prepare for puppet performances.  Participants make their own puppets and props, design scenery, and perform for younger children.  Monday afternoons, 4:00-5:00, starting November 9.

All programs are free and open to the public.  No registration required.
