LUXE Home Interiors, owned by longtime South Boston resident Marisa Carlini, has officially moved into 653 East Broadway — the former home of In Good Company. After spending the last three years on L Street, the shop now offers an expanded retail experience featuring a curated mix of home décor, gifts, jewelry, books, and cards. The new storefront also brings a little something extra to the neighborhood, featuring unique decorative finds and design pieces that Carlini describes as a “HomeGoods for South Boston.” Get all the details here.

Lifebloom

Lifebloom – a candle bar + shop that creates handmade candles from start to finish right here in South Boston – is now open on West Broadway. Lifebloom was created by husband-and-wife duo Eric and Megan after a weekend getaway in Vermont. Wishing to bring their favorite aspects of the outdoors home, they created candles that evoked memories of nature. All their home fragrance products are 100% natural and crafted by hand, including candles in concrete vessels, wax melts, Palo Santo incense, and Palo Santo smudge bowls. Another bonus? Lifebloom’s vessels can be repurposed as planters and home decor items after the burn.

Visit the Current

The Current returns to Boston Seaport on September 25 with a warm new theme for its 20th season: Fireside at The Current, bringing a cozy cold-weather retreat to Seaport Common. A lodge-inspired setting inspired by the comfort and connection of gathering around a fire, the latest season brings together nine pop-ups spanning apparel, accessories, jewelry, beauty, performance gear and sweet treats. Open September 25, 2026 through January 31, 2027, the pop-up village along Seaport Common will once again create a lively destination for discovering emerging concepts, local businesses and returning favorites.  Get all the details here.
