After the success of Loop, the Seaport now welcomes Prismatica – a visual art installation comprised of 25 rotating prisms more than 6.5 feet tall that reflect color and light, day into night. Curated in partnership with art production powerhouse Creos, Prismatica is located along Seaport Boulevard and in Seaport Common through April 1st.
These playful, interactive pieces join Air Sea Land, the series of kaleidoscopic sculptures by renowned artist Okuda San Miguel, currently located around the neighborhood on Seaport Boulevard.
Visitors are welcome to move the the prisms to enjoy an infinite interplay of lights and colorful reflections. A variable-intensity soundtrack comprised of bell sounds plays in harmony with the movements.
