The Loop: Lights, music, action!
Forget the light up seesaws – they are SOOOO 2018. 2019 is all about the loop! The interactive art installation called the Loop is made up of six illuminated, moving cylinders which play music and animations. Here’s how it goes – you take a seat in these giant circular structures, pump the handlebar, and watch a story unfold.
Images inspired by fairy tales come to life in an animation that is visible from inside or outside The Loop. How fast the images move, the frequency of the flickering, and the tempo of the music are determined by how fast you move the lever.
This installation is free and open to the public daily from 7:00am-10:00pm. The Loop will be moving and glowing from January 11th – February 17th in the One Seaport Courtyard.
