Here are our suggestions of how to ring in 2015!  Happy New Year!

Share a meal:
Lincoln (425 West Broadway) is accepting dinner reservations from 5pm-10pm.  There will be chef specials, a champagne toast, lots of fun and no cover!  DJ Doze will be spinning from 11pm-2am.  To make a dinner reservation call 617-765-8636. 

Barlow’s (241 A Street) is celebrating the new year with, a live music and complimentary party favors.  Barlow’s starts the party at 5pm and there is no cover charge.  To make a reservation for dinner, call 617-338-2142.  www.barlowsrestaurant.com  Don’t feel like driving – take the Southie Shuttle!

Gather (75 Northern Ave.) is offering a special New Year’s Eve menu including such deliciousness as lobster savannah and braised short rib sage gnocchi. 

MJ O’Connor’s on the Waterfront (425 Summer Street) is serving up some additions ot their menu like buttermilk fried oysters, surf and turf, pork tenderloin and more! There will also be DJ playing until 1am.

Art Party:
The Urban Art Bar is throwing a party to welcome 2015!  The UAB is the perfect spot for a  NYE’s bash.  A brand new space with lots of atmosphere and an awesome bar with a bartender to make you signature cocktails!  There will be NO COVER charge!  The fun will start at 8pm.  For more information visit www.theurbanartbar.com

Glow Time:

Laugh:
End 2014 with a good laugh!  Laugh Boston is hosting an all star line up on New Year’s Eve.  At 5:30 check out local legend Steve Sweeney.  At 8pm and 10pm, it’s the Al Dcharme and Bernadette Pauly Show.  Enjoy $10 off and free champagne toast for any NYE show.  Just enter the Code: caughtnewyear at checkout at laughboston.com  Must be 21+ for this offer.  Promotional price includes reduced fee ticket and $10 champagne toast.

Out with the old in with the new:
Part of the new year’s tradition is saying goodbye to the old and ushering in the new.  Well, the good people of the Franklin Cafe and soon to be Moonshine 152 will be doing exactly that!  You can celebrate the last night of the Franklin Cafe (152 Dorchester Ave.) with the original menu of the Franklin Southie served until 10pm.  Then the champagne starts flowing along with Moonshine Jello shots, free passed appetizers prepared by new owner and Chef Asia Mei from Moonshine 152!  Talk about smooth transitions!  There is no fancy pre-fix, no cover charge and no tickets.  You just show up for some good old fashioned New Year’s Eve fun!  The event will go until 2am and is sponsored by Reyka, Fernet, Carpano and Brugal. 

Bowl in the New Year:
Pin down a good time this New Year’s without having to leave Southie – you know how we hate to leave Southie!  South Boston Candlepin (543 East Broadway)is hosting a New Year’s party that’s going to be the balls – bowling balls that is!  For just  $30 bucks you can bowl all night, enjoy pizza and a cash bar featuring a wide range of beer and wine in the $3.25 to $4.50 range.  There will be complimentary champagne for the midnight toast and plenty of dance music.  To reserve a lane email: [email protected]

Stress free:
Celebrate at Seapoint’s Stress Free/Totally Casual New Year’s Eve. Om:
Connect with your spiritual side at South Boston Yoga (36 West Broadway) Join South Boston Yoga for their 8th Annual New Years Eve Celebration.  Participate in an all-levels yoga class from 10pm-midnight.  After a silent mediation to welcome in 2015.  We feel more centered and balanced all ready! Ring a ding ding in 2015:
Lucky’s is kicking off the night with the Sinatra Trio featuring Adam Herbert from 6pm-9pm then taking things up a notch with DJ Silent Partner from 9:30pm on.  Tickets are $45 (call for special rates for larger groups) and include party favors, champagne toast and complimentary hors d’oeuvres!   Early dinner seatings are available too.  Call for ticket at 617-357-LUCK or by going to luckyslounge.com

House party:
Throw a good old-fashioned house party!  Some of our best New Year’s Eves have been at a house party!  Call up some friends buy a case of champagne at Social Wines and have American Provisions (613 East Broadway) make you a delicious cheese tray.  Let Tasty Burger cater your party.  They’ll deliver the burgers and fries right to your door! IParty at South Bay has plenty of cheesy New Year’s Eve favors like festive head-ware and noise-makers galore!  (Just think of how irresistible you’ll be at midnight kiss time sporting one of those metallic New Year’s top hats or paper crowns.)  Make a sweet New Year’s playlist, dance and get drunk!  Isn’t that what New Year’s is all about?
