Lincoln Tavern

Lincoln is celebrating the new year with what they do best – BRUNCH! The fun starts at 9am on December 31st with Legends of Summer + DJ Lazyboy. On New Year’s Day – it’s brunch again with DJ Lazyboy starting at 10am. Patriots game at 1pm and then Legends of Summer at 6pm . Reservations are strongly recommended.

Gray’s Hall

Celebrate NYE and Gray’s Hall 3nd Birthday on December 31st! Lots of bubbles, caviar service, and a complimentary toast at midnight! New Year’s Day – the fun continues with more caviar and bubbles starting at 12pm.

Capo

Celebrate NYE with Brunch and Dinner at Capo! Make sure to make a reservation! For groups more than 8, email [email protected] Downstairs at the Supper Club will be a NYE Decades Party – doors open at 8pm.  Email [email protected] for Supper Club reservations.

Lulu Green

 Lulu Green will launch its long-awaited cocktail bar on New Year’s Eve!  Enjoy a  6-course menu ($125) with organic + biodynamic wine pairing – add $80⁣. Specialty celebratory craft cocktails a-la-carte.  There will be two seatings ⁣ – 7PM to 9PM – first seating ⁣ and 9:30PM to Midnight – second seating: includes favors, hats, champagne toast ⁣

One of the coziest and friendliest bars in Southie, Roza Lyons will be celebrating NYE – open until 2am. Enjoy a champagne toast at midnight! NO COVER CHARGE!

Shy Bird

Shy Bird will be celebrating the new year with some menu additions! Reservations are strongly recommended!

Tom English’s Cottage

Kick it old school at this local favorite. Tom English’s Cottage will be open on NYE from 8am (yes, AM) until 1:00am.  A champagne toast for the ball drop at 7pm (midnight in Ireland) AND midnight.  For all your “hair of the dog” needs on New Year’s day, they’ll be open again all day starting at 8am!

Love Child – Bubbly discount

Heated Igloos

We realize that many of our outdoor patios have disappeared for the winter, but there are still some “hot spots” nestled in the neighborhood! In the Seaport, Woods Hill Pier 4 has peppered its patio with translucent heated igloos for parties of six or less to enjoy dinner overlooking Boston Harbor. The patios can be reserved for parties of two to six guests.

Hunter’s Kitchen

Celebrate NYE at one of Southie’s newest hot spots – Hunter’s Kitchen! DJ from 10pm-1am.  Holy Water toast at midnight! Reservations are strongly recommended.

80s Prom Night at PKL

80s-themed prom New Years’ Eve 2023 party in partnership with BostonNYE.com. Featuring a Live band – The Pulse of Boston & DJ in-between sets. Prom photos, Passed apps while supplies last, Prom King & Queen Crowning, Toast at midnight

First Night Boston

First Night Boston, New England’s largest New Year’s Eve party, returns to celebrate the start of 2023 in Boston’s Back Bay. The free and family-friendly event runs from 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 through 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2023, and resumes on New Year’s Day with live performances in Copley Square from 11:00 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. The event features a wide range of local musicians, artists, and performers at indoor and outdoor venues throughout the Back Bay.

Expect dazzling ice sculptures, the “First Night Boston Parade,” a laser and pyrotechnic show, and two sets of fireworks to excited audiences. Local performers will step into the spotlights at Boston Public Library, Copley Place, Boston Common, and surrounding churches. From organ concerts to hip-hop, and country music to figure skating, a full schedule and event details are now available at www.firstnightboston.org.

NYE Ice Sculpture Stroll

Boston Harbor Now’s signature New Year’s Eve Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll is back! Get ready to count down to 2022 with over TWO dozen ice sculptures hosted by businesses and cultural sites across the waterfront. It’ll be the largest Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll EVER! Also enjoy Touch-A-Truck and Touch-a-Boat kids’ events from noon to 4pm at the Envoy Hotel, and stick around into the night for Year’s End Fireworks to ring in 2022!  This event is free and you can learn more here!
