Tree Lightings in Southie
Nothing gets us more in the Christmas spirit than a good old fashioned neighborhood tree lighting! Here in Southie we will be having several tree lightings in the ‘hood.
Thursday, December 10th- 5pm
The Seaport District will light it up on Thursday, December 10th from 5pm-6pm at Maritime Park at the corner of D and Seaport Blvd. Enjoy music from the South Boston Boys & Girls Club, hot chocolate & cookies, and an appearance froma very special guest! You are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to the Laboure Center.
Thursday, December 17th – 5:30pm
Santa Claus and his posse of merrymakers will be on hand for this tree lighting. Reindeer, snowmen, and gingerbread will be singing, dancing and getting the crowd fired up at the municipal lot on West Broadway. Light refreshments will be served.
