When you walk into the small spa on East Broadway, you’re greeted by a neon sign that reads what your in for – Clean Lift Tone. The space is sleek and bright – minimalist chic with fun pops of red and pink. Chill lounge music can be heard. There are three rooms for treatments and a gorgeous and glamorous old Hollywood makeup mirror in the back. Even the bathroom is worth noting. You’re surrounded by an inspirational collage of gorgeous people and beautiful bodies covering the walls.

I experienced two treatments on my recent visit to The CLT method. One for the body and one for the face!

The Body Tox + Tone

This lymphatic drainage massage boasts that it will sculpt and tone your body while reducing the appearance of cellulite. First, some dry brushing followed by a kneading of the body. Next, the Gua Sha tool is moved up and down your body in a rapid motion then a cupping machine to get things flowing. This massage flushes out toxins, depuffs, offers a deep tissue release and improves the complexion and appearance of your skin. I felt lighter, energized, and more confident. My stomach looked noticeably more toned. If you want to look better naked or you’re going to be wearing a bikini anytime soon, this is the treatment for you. Put your shyness and modesty aside and let the technician do her thing. Your body will thank you!

The Clean + Lift Facial

Next! The face! It’s so important to take care of your skin and there’s no better way than a facial. This one did not disappoint. After the skin was cleansed and exfoliated, the highly sought after Environ Tria Wave machine was used on my skin to administer electric currents to stimulate, tighten and lift facial muscle fibers. And as you age, you want firm skin. (I’m speaking from experience.) This facial was both relaxing and rejuvenating. When I looked in the mirror at my reflection post-facial, I was delighted to see a firmer, brighter and more youthful face staring back at me. I looked rested and dare I say, younger.
