A little Q&A With Mo from Lifted Fitness

We sat down with Mo from Lifted Fitness and had a little Q&A
How is Lifted Fitness different than other gyms?
There are a couple distinct reasons we are different than other gyms in the area. First, we alternate between strength and conditioning days. Having said that we set up our programming a month in advance. For strength days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) we stick with 3-4 functional, multi-joint main lifts specific to each day for a month so the client becomes familiar with the movements and is able to adapt and overload the system progressively promoting recovery and enhancing performance.  The conditioning days involve high intensity interval training typically including circuits, tabatas, drive sleds, ropes and more. Second, all trainers have degrees in Exercise Science and an accredited training certification.

What’s the best way to get see optimal changes in your body fast?
The best way is to train 4-5 days per week, potentially coming to 2-3 strength days and 1-2 conditioning days. With a schedule like this you will put yourself in the best position to remain injury free, build strength, lose fat and enhance performance. Coupled with a smart, effective diet you can certainly start seeing results in 2-3 weeks. The team building, motivating atmosphere along with progressive training provides a lethal attack to get in the best shape of your life. 

What can people expect when they come to Lifted Fitness?
Clients can expect to work hard, but be pushed to their own personal capability. All exercises are progressed or regressed to accommodate all fitness levels and/or injury restrictions. They can also expect to improve balance, coordination, feel better and ultimately create better habits in the real world.
