The Boston Bruins have claimed the Cup!
It’s been a long time coming – almost 40 years – but last night in Vancouver the Boston Bruins were victorious over the Canucks with a score of 4 to 0. After making 37 saves, Goalie Tim Thomas won the Conn Smythe Trophy for the most outstanding player in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Southie was teaming with Bruins’ fans last night. Every bar from L Street Tavern to Telegraph Hill had gold and black pouring out into lines. Amazing!
A rolling rally to celebrate the Bruins’ victory has been planned for Saturday at 11am. Woo-hoo!
