The curious case of potatoes in Wayland

A story caught our eye on Boston.com about baked potatoes showing up on the lawn on the Wayland Free Public Library.

Late night host Stephen Colbert even discussed the spud mystery on his show this week.

But are potatoes stranger than the lobsters that showed up on East Third Street in December? What about the severed hoof on Old Colony Ave?
