Calling all high school seniors!
The 2023 South Boston Sports Hall of Fame scholarships are available for high school seniors who live in South Boston! The deadline is June 30!
The goal is to award up to 8 $2500 scholarships to assist with tuition costs and advanced education.

Since our founding in 1995, the organization has awarded 232 grants, for a total of $366,000, to the deserving youth of South Boston.

Did they do something wrong ?
Are they offending anyone ?
The young generation of today needs as much support as they can get, it matters not what our views are .
They are the world, they matter now…more than we ever did !!
Support them , cheer for them and be close to them , hear them , encourage them, give to them all you have…. because this mess of a world we all created over our lifetimes , the world WE enjoyed isn’t the world they are going to enjoy….they deserve much , much better than O comments.
I was born and raised in Southie and I’m saddened to see no reaction to the photo / topic in this article.

Where’s all the support today in mega wealthy Southie ?
Condo City, rental revolution huh ?
There seems,.. by the crickets that some people don’t have a genuine interest ., Shameful.., peculiar.. ain’t it ?
Step up, step out of that Audi with your face unsunglassed, go and meet a lifelong youth basketball coach or a real mentor and advocate for Southie youth from your new neighborhood.
Maybe you’ll feel better about yourself, if you don’t feel absolutely great about yourself anyway.
Try fitting in the right way instead of buying and selling your way in.
Pardon, just a rant, cuz it’s the 21st and still nobody want to say an encouraging word…about the young greatness of Southie !!
This is the core rotten reason why neighborhoods everywhere fail.
