We always knew Senator Jack Hart was a good guy.  But now we have another reason to add to the list.  On Friday, October 14th, Senator Hart was honored by the Greater Boston Food Bank at their Partner Appreciation Luncheon as their Public Advocate of the Year.

Senator Hart, who has always supported the good work of the Greater Boston Food Bank on Beacon Hill and was chosen because of his dedication and efforts to improve the lives of children and families in his district and across the Commonwealth.

Well what do you think of that? Congratulations Senator!

On a side note: Senator Hart did in fact lose in a trivia challenge on Jim Braude’s Pop Quiz show to Caught in Southie’s Maureen Dahill.  He failed to know who “The Situation” was during the quiz.  Apparently Senator Hart is not a fan of the Jersey Shore.

I believe Mr. Hart voted for gay marriage, and am curious why he portrays himself nd his feeling as good, church-going catholics?  Isn't that a bit hypocritical Mr. Hart?

Are you saying you can’t be both?  I know plenty of people who support gay marriage and go to church.  If you are saying that you are either a catholic or support gay marriage and can never be both, then I think you are being a little bit too rigid and judgemental.

Senator Hart is a good, church going family man and he supports gay marriage.  I think that makes him an even better more open minded person.
