Operation Clean Sweep: Pitch in!
Have you noticed how dirty our neighborhood streets are? Well, some local businesses, organizations and neighbors want you to join them in cleaning up Southie! Whether you join a group clean up or simply sweep in front of your home or business, it’s going to make a huge difference! Operation Clean Sweep South Boston will take place over School Vacation Week – February 17th-25th.
Getting rid of litter is the goal, so, even if you have only a few minutes, please make an effort to pick up trash that you see around the neighborhood. We need everyone’s help to get the word out and to provide the labor to make this effort a success!
So grab a broom and trash bag, get outside and meet your neighbors and let’s work together to beautify South Boston. If you need brooms and trash bags you can reach out to the people below, and they’ll arrange a place for you to pick them up.
More details to follow about organized cleaning up days!
