We know!  It’s not easy finding a spot before yet another blizzard.  Here are some places to park your car and find some peace of mind!

  • The Seaport Hotel has also opened up their garage to Southie residents $10 a day. Cars must leave the hotel garage by 9:00 am on Thursday January 29th. Before leaving, residents should show their ID (proof of residency) to hotel parking office.
  • State Street on A Street is offering discounted parking to residents in their garage after 5pm.
  • You can enjoy FREE parking at the Boston Convention Center on Summer Street beginning at 8pm and at BRA/EDIC Garage at 12 Drydock Ave it’s just $1 /overnight.
  • Discount open to South Boston residents only. Standard rate is $15 all day and $27 Overnight. Enter 2 hours prior to the ban going into effect and exit 24 hours after the ban has been lifted.

DCR will accommodate vehicles with valid South Boston resident parking stickers at Castle Island from 6 p.m. on Monday, January 26th until 24 hours after the DCR parking ban is lifted. Stay tuned for Media Advisories.
No parking in restricted areas.
WHEN: Beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015
WHERE: Castle Island Parking Lot OPEN to vehicles with valid South Boston Resident parking stickers at 6 p.m. until 24 hours after the DCR parking ban is lifted.

    What about the business owners that don't have a resident sticker?
